HR Life, Certification Prep & Order Catch-Up

Hi Friends,

I wanted to share a quick update so you know where things stand with orders and refunds—and also give you a little life update since so many of you have been so patient and supportive.

My first 90 days at my new job have been incredible. I’m truly grateful to be working alongside an amazing HR team, and I’m officially gearing up to prepare for a few major certification exams that will only strengthen this new career path. Between that and tax season (both personal and work-related), things have been extra busy around here lately.

The good news: I am fully caught up on my email backlog 🎉 Emails were my top priority, and I’m now working through the newer messages that came in over the weekend—I’ll have those finished by the end of this week. Next up on my priority list is getting shipments out the door.

Shipping did have to pause briefly due to the weather. It has been absolutely freezing in our garage with the icy cold temperatures, and even with a space heater, it’s been pretty unbearable and unsafe to work out there. Because of that, shipments took a short break, but I’ll be catching up later this week since it’s an off-payroll week for me at work.

Refunds are also continuing to move forward. I’ll be processing another round this Wednesday, 2/11, with the next round scheduled for 2/25/26. I’m not posting the remaining orders list today since I’ll be removing a few more refunded orders by the end of this week. An updated list will be available by next Saturday, 2/21/26. My goal is to have fewer than 20 orders left to complete before the end of March. I want to be transparent that, with my current work schedule, this is the most I’m able to realistically commit to over the next couple of months.

Looking ahead, I will only be accepting a very limited number of new handmade orders toward the end of summer, specifically for pre-Halloween deliveries. This will allow me to thoughtfully work through the remaining fabric and supplies I already have on hand.
